Rijsel was born out of a passion for French cuisine with a nod to Flanders.
The seemingly dull North French industrial city of Lille, known to the Flemish as ‘Rijsel,’ is not the trendy, fashionable global city many restaurants claim to be. Rijsel represents more than just a name. In an interior of classic meets 1960s modern, affordable, no-nonsense food is served. In a relaxed atmosphere, dining is for everyone, for all occasions, and always at honest prices. The lacquered walls, natural stone, steel, and set tables complete the experience.
