Bistronomic enjoyment in Petegem aan de Leie
We discover Bistro Marron in the picturesque village of Petegem aan de Leie, between Ghent and Deinze. Sven Goeman and Stephanie Vanzieleghem are the driving forces behind this establishment, and they have firmly chosen a bistronomic approach in a cozy setting. The interior of Bistro Marron is contemporary and trendy, with classic elements combined with modern touches, and black and white being the dominant colors. The overall ambiance creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. When the weather permits, it’s also delightful to enjoy the terrace. Hostess Stephanie takes care of the service with pleasure and style.
Chef Sven Goeman gained experience at establishments such as Bar et Boeuf in Monaco and Bernadin in Antwerp. Stephanie learned the ropes on the Côte d’Azur and in Robertville. The couple also worked together at Flamand Dining in Antwerp before opening their own restaurant.
Today, Sven and Stephanie offer their customers at Bistro Marron a varied menu, where classics go hand in hand with creative dishes. For instance, you can enjoy a flavorful ‘Blue/White rib-eye steak with “peper maniguette” with black pepper mayo, tomato salad, and fresh fries’, or the ‘Crispy veal sweetbreads with langoustines, lardo crumble, Jerusalem artichoke, avruga & bulgur salsa, and vermouth jus’.
Bistro Marron: delicious contemporary bistronomie.
