In Mons, everyone knows Luc Broutard. His neighborhood bistro, La Table du Boucher, has become a major reference for meat lovers. For over twenty years, he has been searching for the finest pleasures of the meadows. The interior of this authentic house harks back to the better bistros of the past. La Table du Boucher is located in the center of Mons and is the Walloon hotspot for expertly aged meat.

Luc Broutard lets the premium meat mature and dry for six weeks in cooling rooms. The result is exceptionally tender and flavorful meat. Broutard also experiments with butter, which is churned according to his recipe and stored in earthenware pots using traditional methods.

On the menu, we find a Bib Gourmand menu for €39, where there is a choice of four dishes per course. The highlights are, of course, on the Menu Classique. Steak tartare is prepared à la minute for the guests, meatballs in tomato sauce are made in-house, and the accompanying fries are cooked in beef fat. Burgundy enthusiasts and carnivores come here for a spectacular piece of meat. The beef comes from renowned top producers. In addition to the Grand Cru meat dishes, there is a daily selection of côte à l’os cuts to share, priced by the 100g. On the dessert menu, alongside the classic Dame Blanche, you’ll find a moelleux with Pierre Marcolini chocolate, and all sorbets are made in-house from fresh fruit.

La Table du Boucher, the guarantee for a high-quality meat experience.
