At Restaurant Vos, located in the complex of tennis club Reinaert, Stijn Audenaert has been cooking up a storm for several years. Stijn comes from Ter Duinen and gained experience at renowned restaurants like Oud Sluis, J.E.F., and ’t Vier Emmershof. At Restaurant Vos, his experience manifests in light dishes without frills, featuring fine acids and seasonal ingredients. The interior has also been carefully considered, combining both light and dark colors with plenty of wood and a green accent wall. This brings nature indoors and references the nearby nature reserve, Molsbroek.

At Restaurant Vos, guests can choose a 2-course (29€) or 3-course (35€) menu during lunch. In the evening, there’s a 3-course (46€), 4-course (59€), or 5-course (69€) menu, or guests can create their own menu from the à la carte options. Stijn, also part of the Jong Keukengeweld collective, combines beef tartare with onion broth and egg yolk cream. A beautiful piece of sea bass with langoustine and butternut. Partridge with celeriac root, trompette de la mort, and white cabbage. The dessert clearly bears the chef’s signature, excelling with a beautiful combination of sweet and fine acidity. How about lemon with milk ice cream, apple, caramel, and blonde chocolate?
